Variance-aware weight quantization of multi-level resistive switching devices based on Pt/LaAlO3/SrTiO3 heterostructures

This work demonstrates a Pt/LaAlO3/SrTiO3 resistive switching device that achieves over 27 tunable non-volatile conductance states via controlled 2DEG tunneling, and pairs it with a variance-aware weight quantization method that mitigates state-overlap and improves computing accuracy for high-precision multi-bit memristive neuromorphic applications.
